Saturday afternoon (window) shopping

Saturday, late afternoon, the city centre is packed. Via Mazzini is the first shopping street with the big designer brands and, along with Via Cappello and Corso Portoni Borsari is the most busy street, every day of the week. On saturdays and sundays Via Mazzini is absolutely choc-a-bloc and I definitely avoid it, especially if I am pushing the stroller.

Many people are in the shops, most of them are just browsing. Many people but not so many, considering the quantity of people strolling. Economical crisis = window shopping. I do that a lot lately. Do you?

I'm in the mood of strolling with the people.

That's a lot of people.

I try not to because I can't just window shop, I always end up buying somehting. I'd rather not go near the shops unless I need something.

What a crowd!

No time for window shopping in my day, unfortunately. I go near the shops only when I intend to buy!

I love shopping, so when i'm skint I go window shopping but then I quickly forget I shouldn't spend any money and end up buying something just the same.

Wow, we can really feel the energy in the photo.

Yes, the economic situation in the US (and NYC) is really bad right now. Restaurants in the city are experiencing low customers. And shops too.
