Tocatì 2009 - Labirynth


Like last year, the Tocatì brought thousands of people down on the streets of the historical centre. More than last year maybe, as the event attracts people from all over Italy, tv and press.

This is the medieval Cortile del Mercato Vecchio where hundreds of plastic panels made up a huge labyrinth. I took this pic on the stairs of Palazzo della Ragione.

Red umbrellas


A few tourists on a rainy day. The weather has got slightly better today, still grey, though. This is Piazza del Mercato Vecchio (Old Market Square). To the left, behind the staircase of which you can see a little corner, there is the entrance to the elevator that brings you to the top of Torre de' Lamberti (well, almost: the last bit is on your legs!).
