Wrought iron

Merlons, marble columns, arched windows, beautiful frescoed rooms... This is the medieval Palazzo del Podestà that hosts the administrative offices of the Province of Verona.
The Palace, faces Piazza dei Signori, while the back side runs along Corso Santa Anastasia with
its courtyard enclosed by this beautiful wrought iron fence that never fails to attract me whenever I pass by...

Waiting for Christmas

Christmas lights have been hanging everywhere for weeks now, but they haven't been lit, yet.
I walked down Corso S. Anastàsia today and a beautiful sun warmed up the brown facade of the biggest church in town: Chiesa di Santa Anastàsia.
The sun was low, on my back, and people cast long shadows on the pavement...
