Argentario

Ok, this is it. We are leaving and won't be back until the end of august. Our destination: my hometown, Porto S. Stefano on the Argentario promontory, Tuscany.
Let me break the CDP rules to show you a little bit of the beautiful place I come from.

I hope you will have a great summer and enjoy your holidays, my dear blogger friends.
I'll be back at the end of august and I'll "knock on your doors"!

Elegance at the Opera

A break between the first and second act of Bizet's "Carmen": some of the people come out on the square to admire the Arena.

Letters to Juliet, evening set

Hi everyone! Thank you so so much for the comments on my previous post... I really didn't expect so many since I had already posted my "goodbye" for the summer holidays.
But, as I said, I would have been on/off in the first two weeks of july, so here I am!

The scene was set at the Trattoria, you can see the green pergola with tables underneath. The Trattoria was especially created for the film and hundreds of people worked together to shoot a few minutes of movie. Isn't cinema an incredible machine?

Letters to Juliet

Hi! We are back from Tuscany for a few days and look what I found in town: a film set! This is one of the locations of "Letters to Juliet"!
The massive Hollywood production landed with a large crowd of staff that will work in town until the 10th of july. Another location will be in Siena, Tuscany.
This is yet another (temporary) attraction for tourists and veronesi, who gather to see the shootings, day and night!
