Stone balls!

This photo was taken on the first section of Ponte di Castelvecchio and the lawn is part of the Museo di Castelvecchio. I noticed these interesting stone balls of different sizes behind the gate.  I wonder if they are cannon balls or just sculptures. I'll try to find out...

This is an interesting and somewhat puzzling shot. It first made me think of a soccer goal chock full of balls.

Interesting shot. Good perspective. They look like shot puts (excet they are different sizes).

These are the soccer balls the Veronese statues use at night...when no one is looking!

This is the firs time I post a comment in your blog. I like a lot all the photos I have seen.
About this one. It seems as if the stones attempt to pass through the gate.
In my job, there are two compatriots yours. One from Milan and one from Florence.

Interesting way to catch those colours.

Molto bella ed enigmatica. Sembra un'installazione postmoderna.

Definitely not football. :-)

Castelvecchio means old castle, right?
