Invitation to the Osteria

This is one of the most typical wine bars in town, it's called "Le Vecette" (dialect for le vecchiette, the old ladies), as you can see embroidered on the white linen curtain.
Wine bars here are welcoming and cosy, quite little and lined with wine bottles. Valpolicella, a territory near Verona produces one of the best wines of Italy and the Amarone is the fourth bigger seller in Italy, read more.
This osteria gets really crowded for aperitivi, before dinner. You can have a good glass of wine and some crostini, either sitting at the table or standing at the bancone (bar).
The atmosphere is warm, and I love it especially in winter when outside it's cold and rainy...

This looks like the perfect atmosphere for a wine bar. Salute. Buono appetito.
