Red umbrellas

A few tourists on a rainy day. The weather has got slightly better today, still grey, though. This is Piazza del Mercato Vecchio (Old Market Square). To the left, behind the staircase of which you can see a little corner, there is the entrance to the elevator that brings you to the top of Torre de' Lamberti (well, almost: the last bit is on your legs!).

how neat? The ground looks like it's underwater.

Those must be gutters coming down from the roof? (the vertical things?). There must not have been drains built into the plaza.

(I am still in work mode, haha)

Sorry about your dreary, wet weather, but it provides the perfect atmosphere for a splash of color from the red umbrellas. Great photo.

I love that both umbrellas are red, balances the shot really well. Lucky you, its a long time since we've had rain.

Well that's a great shot. Two pink umbrellas and the water and reflection. Just perfect.
