Windows, arches and other details...

I took this photos standing on one of the few staircases in town, in fact, you can see that my view is higher than the street below. I liked this view because it contains a huge variety of windows, arches, columns and oter interestning details.
As I often suggest, just stop for a minute and look better!

Ps: I took this pic a few days ago, when there was a bright sun. Now it's grey and damp: it's been raining for two days and more rain is coming...

This is lovely Valeria. The warm tones and detail show up quite well in the sunlight. Very nice.

It's almost like a department store of beautiful architecture. Now, let's see, which one would I like...?

Hi Valeria, I have just taken a look at your blog, nice pictures! I have a question, taking a look at the picture of 30 okt, the porta Borsa, why are there so many holes in the porta? It seems it has been part of structure, or covered with something else?
regards from Marcel

Ciao, Valeria. I'm glad that at least a part of Italy is not under snow, water or bad weather anyway! Keep warm. Ciao. Antonella

This, like so many of your images, really transports me to Italy. I have only been twice but the memories are burned in. Thank you for recalling them on a daily basis.
