Roast chestnuts

Among the colourful kiosks in Piazza Erbe there are two veg stalls that also sell roast chestnuts. They work a lot when it's very cold, like today. I like the chestnuts smell and flavour, but, above all, I love to feel the warmth of the paper bag in my hands!

The smell and taste of winter in Europe. I miss them, we rarely get them sold on the street here.

I love this picture, best one from the holidays. I can almost smell and feel it. Great.

I like how the price is hand written on the cooker!

Ciao Valeria, what a lovely photo. I saw a roast chestunut stall in York today as well. Unfortunately it did not look so appealing as yours but a bit yucky...so I let go. All the best. Antonella
