Marc Quinn: "Kate Moss on thursday"

Cast against the roughness of the ancient marbles of the roman Porta Borsari, "Kate Moss on thursday" by english sculptor Marc Quinn, steals the attention of passers by and causes a stir in the sleepy artistic panorama of Verona.
This is one of the three works already on exhibit in Verona; more will come in a few weeks at the House of Juliet that will host a complete exhibition of sculptures and paintings.
I am so excited, I can't wait!

Wonderful composition.
I like expressions of those people who look at the sculpture.

Oh, I've read a lot about these sculptures but I didn't know they were going to be displayed in Verona! Hope you'll keep us posted in the next days/weeks. Ciao. A.

That is definitely an interesting sculpture. The distinct contrast between the new art work and the medieval background makes for an even more interesting display.

Please tell me this exhibition is NOT permanent.

The contrast between new art and old setting, the strangeness of the sculpture, but what I like more in this photo is the way the four passer-by look at her!

When I read the title I thaught you were joking! Lol! Great shot and great contrast to the old wall.
