City interiors, #2

Warm floors, comfy seats and candles for a cosy corner in the sitting room of the spacious city centre home of my dear friend T. She is currently restyling some of the rooms with vibrant colours but she chose a warm taupe for the wall of the sitting room to create a more relaxed atmosphere.

I really like the warm, rich, cozy colors! What a grand mirror to add drama to the room! Now all she needs to bring into the room is a pot of Cafe' Verona coffee and some yummy biscotti . . .

It is a very warm and welcoming feeling to the room. I like the mirror on the floor reflecting some of the light from the window. The wood inlaid floor is very nice too.

Your friend, T, has a designer's eye and knows her colors. I don't know tape from taupe, but I know I like this.

Not sure about the chair, though...it doesn't look all that comfy, so I'll just take your word for it...

What's the red thingy on the floor?

I could be quite content there.
