Autumn seems to be very near. A chilly, soft rain has been falling for hours soaking the flowerbeds and refreshing the air. I'm sure we'll be having many more mild and sunny days all through october but summer is definitely over and it feels great to spread a light blanket on the bed...
So, before welcoming the autumn with its colours and charm, I want to say "goodbye" to the hot but gorgeous summer in Verona so I chose this pic I took last june. I find it very romantic, I hope you like it too!

I really wish that I had an autumn here. I am jealous of yours! Here it just transitions from hot to less hot. Sometimes we get a little rain though...

Yep, terrific shot. I am enjoying reading everyone's post of the end to summer. Tampa, Florida is still so, so hot and humid. The temp has dropped from the mid-90s but it too hot to sit outside at night. I hope a tinge of autumn comes soon. (I really like those sidewalk umbrellas.)
