Waiting for the big exhibition at the House of Juliet, let me show you the third sculpture by Marc Quinn. I became quite obsessed with these artworks, as you may have suspected by now.
This beautiful Orchid, installed in the courtyard at Castelvecchio Museum
looks like as if it had sprout from the green lawn in perfect simmetry with the mullioned window. Its bright, vibrant colours add a touch of life to the crude concrete of the Museum.

THis is stunning! I am just sitting here taking it all in. You are right to be obsessed. What an accomplished sculptor he is.

I was going to say, that's one heck of a big flower!
It is colorful, for sure!
Look at the perfect lady's slipper in that orchid!
This sure is a nice statue ... and I confess; I was fooled for a second in believing it was a really big flower!
A flower without maintenance
The placement in front of the two windows was very nicely done. It's gorgeous! I'm envisioning a bit smaller one as a fountain in my garden. :D
At first I was sure it was 'real' flower, amazing!
What a beautiful art piece...it looks so real.
I love it ,the giant queen of the flowers !
Ciao. A.
Wonderful placement and a beautiful piece of art.
This is really giant orchid! Wow:)
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
:-)
Thanks
Lovely!!!
Fab and weird all at the same time, very striking wonderful shot!
This one (the orchid) is so different from his two other pieces that you have posted. This looks almost too classical to his usual contemporary work.
rather surreal photo. The colors of the flower are so intense, while the building is earthy.
ah, you're lucky to be around the museum!
