The Duomo

The Duomo is the Cathedral of Verona, called Santa Maria Matricolare. It was built on the site of two paleo-christian churches destroyed by an earthquake in 1117. The "new" building was consacrated on the 13rd of september, 1187.

Home with a view

I went to a birthday party in this lovely home today. It definitely had a view!

That is Verona's Cathedral, Santa Maria Matricolare, a very ancient church, we call it the Duomo.
