Yummy! I resisted the temptation to stop and buy some sicilian pastries today. I was in a hurry and there was a large crowd in front of the stall. But I thought I could afford to spend a minute for a couple of shots...
Marzapane, almond pastries, cannoli with ricotta, pistacchio cookies... mmmhhh...
Too bad that this enchanting stall is gone... All the Santa Lucia stalls packed up and moved...the festivity is definitely over...for this year.

I admire your strength of will. There is no way I could have left there without buying something. They all look so good.
I agree with Ann. I would not have been as strong.
wonderful photo with all the signs. They give a neat depth to the photo.

How could you resist? You are too good! ;-)
Ciao Valeria, Thanks for the link in your previous post. Love this photo of the stall. Quanto ben di Dio! Pity St Lucia lasts only one day! Hope your daughter had fun and lots of prezzies! All the best. Antonella
Golosona!
A paradise for all the 'sweet tooth' (like me!).
Also love the arch with a star coming from the Arena and your friday photo very much. It reminds me of Bologna!
Colourful and beautiful photo.
Those are all looks delicious.
I wonder which should I buy.
Very colorful and festive, tempting treats, what fun!
Wow, there is so much food here! A bit like the aladin's cave of sweets and treats! mmmm.
Just looking at this stall makes my mouth water.
It makes me wanna jump in there... :-)
Everything sounds delicious.
Do people actually eat the marzipan fruits? I thought they were mostly for decorations only.
