Enchanted lagoon

Here is  a marvellous corner of the Lake of Garda I took yesterday. Summer arrived a bit earlier this year, as it happens: we've been having peaks of 35°C for the last ten days! Thunderstorms are forecast for today and I am quite relieved!

  2. Nice scene. On my visit to Lake Garda we used to go skinny dipping late at night. Great fun it was!

  3. Beautiful scene! I loved the swan family! I never saw a lake with a water so green, except in the Andean lakes because of algae.

  4. How warm is the water? And how close is the street for this woman to ride on her bike?

  5. A warm, pleasant photograph of a gorgeous spot...so many nice elements - the man on the towel, the woman walking the bike, and the geese! The geese are the crowning touch!

  7. I saw your comment about the ducks on Julie's Scottsdale, Arizona Daily Photo site. Julie and I have been to Lake Como, but not Lake Garda. We are determined to return to the Italian lakes area and spend more time there, as Bellagio was one of our favorite places.

We have also been to Verona and liked it very much. I enjoy following your blog.

  8. The water looks beautiful. The woman walking with the bike looks like she stepped out of a 1950s movie.

  18. Wow, what a beautiful sight.

I also noticed that beach is not sandy. It is more stoney/pebbly, much like the beaches in the French Riviera.
