The bench


Saturday afternoon at Riva San Lorenzo. This is such a lovely place for a short walk along the river, under the shady trees, just off the main road Corso Cavour.
This is usually a very quiet place, where you can always find a place to sit even in summer, because it's not a popular spot for tourists. Here I like to read and enjoy the view towards Castelvecchio Bridge. Wouldn't it be great to live here and hear the river flow?

    Yes, it would be. I have been to places as diverse as Jeddah and Denver but for some reason Verona has grabbed my heart. I would live here if I could.

    Questo posto é belissimo. Il preferito della mia amica Katia, que lavora a Verona e ama questa cittá moltissimo e, ora anche il mio.
    Di li ho portato un foglia di questi Tilie. Era giugno e aveva un dolce profumo nel aria.
    Quante ricordi.... sempre que vado dal tuo blogé come si facessi un viaggio nel tempo.
