Because of Romeo and Juliet, Verona has developed a strong image as the Città dell'Amore, the Love Town. Every year, from the 7th to the 15th february, a series of events welcomes lovers from all over the world: it's "Verona in Love", whose claim is "If you're in love, take your loved one to Verona". Lovers can book a discounted week-end stay and benefit from special offers from many restaurants. Besides, a lot of events such as exhibitions, a market, special guided tours will be held for this special occasion.
If I didn't live here, I would love my husband to take me for a romantic week-end in Verona!

ReplyDeleteA lot of people say that Italy is the Most beautiful European Country, I guess I can never object on that! This photo is just stunning!
ReplyDeleteI hope you still remember me Valeria! I will never forget you and the award you have given me Thank you so much and Have a great weekend ahead!

Have your husband take you to Rome for the 14th...it's very romantic, too, in my opinion!
ReplyDeleteThe way these hearts are connected and their color, they look like the "bleeding heart" flower, one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteIt is hard for me to get used to seeing what looks like a street but only people are on it. I suppose this is like some of the malls in Japan which are very nice too. I like the photography and the way you framed the picture.
ReplyDeleteBella testimonianza
ReplyDeleteL'anno scorso ho visto quei cuori sospesi accendersi con le luci della sera. Un grande effetto scenico per la città di G&R
Un abbraccio
